Pink-Flamingo.org
Welcome
Hello there! *waves* You've reached the has-been domain extraordinaire known as Pink-Flamingo.org.

Once upon a time, P-F.org had a dedicated webmistress who blogged daily, updated content, and made layouts on a frequent basis. As a result, P-F.org developed quite a following.

Sadly, dear Mere just couldn't keep up anymore and serious neglect followed. Until the day comes for P-F.org to be retired for good, it shall stick around as a memory of one of the better times in Mere's life.

As always, thank you for your support. It's the fabulous people Mere's met along the way that have kept this place around so long.

Mr. & Mrs. Flamingo are Pink-Flamingo.org's mascots. At least one of the two is featured on every layout I make. (You can see them in action on the past layouts page.)

I created a *template* for the flamingo in the program in which I make most of my layouts. The flamingo started out as a pelican that I got off of a dingbat set called Mini Pics Lil Critters. I kept the body and then edited the head by putting some shapes together to make it more flamingo-like.

Whenever I make a new layout, I always go back to my flamingo template. Then I just make the flamingo the size and colors I need as well as adding props and such.

If you'd like to see what visitors once thought Mr. & Mrs. Flamingo should be named then here you go!
